Omega has announced 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Davis Love III as their newest golf ambassador. He will lead Team USA at the Ryder Cup to be played at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill., Sept. 25-30, 2012. Omega will serve as official timekeeper for the first time.
Omega President Stephen Urquhart presented Love with an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra “Captain’s Watch,” created in celebration of the Ryder’s Cup. In addition, each member of the team will receive one with their name on it.
The silver dial has the vertical ‘‘teak-pattern’’ lines that characterize the watches in the Aqua Terra collection.
