Grieb & Benzinger, known for its unusual skeletonized watches, as well as for its bespoke watchmaking service, has created a custom timepiece for a female collector. This is the brand’s first ever ladies’ watch. After a report in a luxury magazine on the brand’s watchmaking service caught her attention, a Russian businesswoman (and watch aficionado) approached the Grieb & Benzinger workshop about making a custom women’s version of its Blossom watch, a piece that is completely skeletonized, guilloché and engraved by hand. The result was the Pearl Blossom, a ladies variation of the Blossom with a 43-mm red-gold case set with 2.55 ct. of diamonds.
The Pearl Blossom is the second variation of the original watch to be made. Last year, Grieb & Benzinger also created a variation of the Blossom called the Black Tulip, a men’s watch made at the request of an American singer, which featured a black, skeletonized movement.
