Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry has selected the new Gucci Sync watch to represent Chime for Change, a campaign for women’s and girls’ empowerment founded by Gucci. From May 28th to August 31st, two models of the Gucci Sync (which stands for Social Young Network Community) will be available online at gucci.com, with 50% of the proceeds going to Chime for Change’s fundraising partner, Catapult.org. Catapult is a crowdfunding platform dedicated to advancing the lives of girls and women, which connects Chime for Change community members to over 80 organizations in 70 countries.
The Gucci Sync, a unisex timepiece, comes in two sizes, XXL (46mm) or large (36mm), in both a black and white version. The watch features a sun-brushed dial, stainless steel and transparent nylon case, and stadium-shaped steel bezel. The Gucci logo is etched around the stainless steel case at 9 o’clock and also appears on the dial, along with the interlocking ‘GG’ symbol. The timepiece also features a variation of Gucci’s red & green stripe integrated into the rubber strap and as a color accent on the crown.
