Frederique Constant Expands Highlife Collection with a Sparkling Addition

Frederique Constant’s Highlife collection has expanded by one model more at this year’s Watches and Wonders with the introduction of the Highlife Ladies Automatic Sparkling. Aptly named, the design includes a series of diamond accents and a sparkling dial that give it a vibrant vitality in any light condition. With its sporty yet gem-centric design, the timepiece offers a unique versatility between casual and formal wear.

With an understated diameter of 34mm, the steel case wears comfortably, especially on smaller wrists. Its silhouette is characteristic of the Highlife collection with a seamlessly integrated steel strap, which is also interchangeable for a cloud-white rubber strap. The robust exterior is made more elegant by a gem set bezel, which includes a total of 60 diamonds around its rim. On the reverse, an exhibition case back displays the movement, a feature that has become standard for the Ladies Highlife models.

Frederique Constant opts for a rich shade of sky blue for the dial, made even more dynamic as it is saturated with sparkling silver fragments on the entirety of its surface. The 12, 6, and 9 o’clock hours are marked with geometric indices, while eight starlike diamonds serve as the markers for the remaining hours. In place of the 3 o’clock hour markers is a date window with a black numeral indicating the date over a white background. There are small tick marks on the outer edge of the dial for precise timekeeping, which is presented via luminous, silver plated, and hand-polished hands.

Revealed by the sapphire case back is the caliber FC-303, featuring a delicate spiral motif. The automatic movement is based on the caliber SW200 and offers a power reserve of 38 hours.

The Frederique Constant Highlife Ladies Automatic Sparkling is a limited edition of 888 pieces with pricing marked at $3,995.
