More than 100 classic and antique boats and over 5,000 visitors gathered at one of the world’s best known clear mountain lakes for the 39th annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance. The event showcases the best vintage wood boats from North America, which compete for top honors in 13 classes.

The overall winner was a 1939 Gar Wood. The 19 foot runabout with a 103 horsepower 6 cylinder Chrysler engine is owned by Jonathan and Jean Trevillyan of Acton, CA. The 1939 Gar Wood was awarded the best Marque Class and Best Overall Boat in Show. Frédérique Constant was honored to be the official sponsor of the 39th annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance, and the winning owners were presented with the recently-introduced Frédérique Constant Runabout Moonphase & Date timepiece, pictured below.
