Two Pateks Top $1 Million At Christie’s Hong Kong Sale

A Patek Philippe Ref. 2499R, 3rd Series, brought $1,210,466 at Christie's May 30 Hong Kong sale. The perpetual calendar chronograph with moon phases in pink gold was manufactured in 1971. 25 Arrested in Harry Winston Paris Robbery

The Associated Press is reporting that French police arrested 25 suspects in connection with last year's multi-million dollar robbery at Harry Winston jewelers in Paris. Police recovered some of the stolen watches, rings and necklaces, as well as shoulder weapons and $345,000 in cash.
