The legendary Scuderia Ferrari racing team is now on Hublot time. Already Official Timekeeper & Official Watch of Ferrari and the Scuderia, Hublot is now set to be displayed by the new F1 cars and the drivers. From the management to the mechanics, the whole team is joining Hublot’s extended family.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, added: “Our collaboration with Ferrari has been highly fruitful, on every level and around the globe for the past 12 months, and when I had the opportunity to meet Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo and the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali on several occasions at Grands Prix last year, we agreed that we ought to extend our partnership to the Scuderia. It is even better for us to have close ties with an icon, a living legend embodied by the two red cars speeding around racing circuits worldwide.”
Hublot also participated in the season opener of the North American Ferrari Challenge series during the Daytona Rolex 24 Hours, held in Daytona, Florida. Throughout the schedule of events, the Hublot Big Bang Ferrari models were on display in the dedicated Hublot tent. The Ferrari Challenge is the longest running single racing series in North America and allows Ferrari owners the opportunity to compete against one another at world-class venues. For 2013, Hublot plans to participate in the upcoming Palm Beach Rally and Ferrari Race Challenges in Sonoma and Lime Rock. In addition, the brand will have a presence at the F1 series in Montreal and Austin.
Hublot announced its partnership with Ferrari in November 2011; Hublot unveiled its first errari timepiBig Bang Feces at BaselWorld 2012 and recently showcased its newest 2013 offerings during the Geneva watch fairs.
