For the second year in a row, A. Lange & Söhne is sponsoring the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the exclusive competition for historic vehicles and concept cars. Originating in 1929, the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este celebrates the design of classic automobiles. As with last year’s competition, the owner of the winning automobile will receive a special version of the A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Time Zone watch.

From May 24-27, the park surrounding the Villa d’Este hotel on Lake Como will attract fans of both classic cars and mechanical timepieces. On the brand’s involvement with the event, Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid had this to say: “In the world of classic automobiles, we have found many new friends for our watches. Following the highly successful première last year, we are eager to share our passion for technology, style, and elegance with our guests again in 2013.”
