Perrelet, the distinct Swiss watch manufacturer with symbolic roots dating back to some of the earliest days of watchmaking, is set to make a spectacular debut at WatchTime New York 2023. This highly anticipated three-day watch collectors’ event will take place at the prestigious Gotham Hall in Manhattan from October 20th to 22nd. With over thirty esteemed brands, captivating industry discussions, and immersive horological experiences, WatchTime New York 2023 promises to be a grand celebration of timekeeping. Perrelet will showcase its latest creation, the Turbine 41 Titanium, a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and contemporary design.

On the stage of the Geneva Watch Days 2023, Perrelet first introduced the Turbine 41 Titanium. The new timepiece marked a significant development in the brand’s iconic styling by featuring a smaller case size measuring 41 mm in diameter. This downsizing represented the first time the brand has reduced case size since 2009 when it began its production of exclusively 44mm shells, with the development meant to meet the moment of the market, which has increasingly demanded smaller case sizes.

The hallmark of the Turbine 41 Titanium, as with all Perrelet watches, is its mesmerizing spinning turbine, inspired by aeronautical propulsion systems. Like the case, the turbine has also been miniaturized, in-effect showcasing the brand’s ability for mechanical engineering. Requiring meticulous assembly to ensure it rotates gracefully with the slightest wrist movement, the turbine is comprised of 12 black anodized aluminum blades with five counterweights, together delivering upon form and function.

Perrelet offers the new Turbine 41 Titanium in ten variations. Four models boast a polished/brushed grade 2 titanium case with a matching integrated bracelet, with lower dials available in shades of blue, green, red, or black. The remaining six versions showcase a black DLC titanium case with a rubber strap matching the sub-dial’s color: yellow, orange, red, English green, blue, or black.

The Turbine 41 Titanium maintains the aesthetics of the Turbine EVO collection, launched in 2019 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the patented Turbine technology. The case and bracelet feature a smooth bezel, vertically fluted case middle, triple lugs, and a prominent crown adorned with the brand’s logo. Notably, the new watch introduces slightly redesigned hour and minute hands filled entirely with white luminescent material, enhancing legibility even in low-light conditions.

Driving the updated Perrelet is the self-winding P-331-MH calibre, a new movement entirely designed in-house and manufactured by Soprod, a sister brand of Perrelet as part of the Festina Group. The automatic mechanism features a frequency of 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours, with timing certifications from COSC and Chronofiable. The movement’s finishing, including rhodium-plated and circular-grained bridges, can be admired through a sapphire crystal case back.

The new Perrelet Turbine 41 Titanium collection will be available for purchase from authorized retailers worldwide starting in the fall of 2023, with pricing marked at with pricing marked at $4,750 when equipped on a rubber strap and $4,850 on a titanium bracelet.
