490 internet bidders joined an SRO crowd in the auction room at Antiquorum's New York sale on September 17, and in the end two Patek Philippe references took top honors, bringing world record prices. Antiquorum’s Auction Season Ends With a Bang

A standing-room only crowd at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel competed against more than 250 internet bidders from over 40 countries at Antiquorum's 2009 Hong Kong auction. Steve McQueen’s Rolex Brings Record $234,000

Steve McQueen's Rolex Submariner Ref. 5512 brought $234,000 including buyer's premium at Antiquorum's summer sale in New York City yesterday, setting a world record for that reference. Antiquorum's May 10 Geneva sale realized SFr. 6,520,180. Of the 331 lots, 80% were sold, representing 134.62% in value. A Patek Philippe Ref. 1436 (lot 161) brought the highest price of the day. On May 9 and 10 Antiquorum will auction over 300 watches and clocks at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva. The highlight of the sale is a Patek Philippe Ref. 1436, stainless steel split-seconds chronograph, pictured below. Daytona Brings World Record Price at Auction

A vintage Ref. 6270 Rolex Daytona in 18k gold brought a world record Sfr. 360,000 at Antiquorum's Spring sale in Geneva, held March 28 and 29. The record-setting Daytona's bezel contains 28 baguette diamonds. Patek Philippe wristwatches also performed well.
