Highlights from Christie’s “Time for Spring” Online Watch Auction

There’s something special about viewing the lots of a watch auction in person. Being able to sit with a number of timepieces that you never expected to see in the flesh — and often in immaculate condition — is a rare treat that any horological enthusiast should seek out. Earlier today, we got to sit down and take a look at a number of timepieces in Christie’s “Time for Spring” online auction. It’s currently on view inside the watch salon at Christie’s – Rockefeller Center. If you’re in New York this weekend, I encourage you to go check out the lots in person. If not, peruse a few of the highlights we saw in the slideshow below.

The auction ends on Tuesday, March 13. You can view the rest of the 124 lots here.

When is the Time for Spring watch auction? Also, can you please plug me into the NYC watch auction network. I am just starting out and looking to get into the world.
