Today, on the cusp of a New Year, we wrap up our series with an array of ladies’ watches, in all styles and price ranges, and remind one and all that even though the holiday gift giving season is over, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Read on to see all 24 ladies’ watches.
Ateliers deMonaco’s La Sirène was inspired by Princess Charlene of Monaco. The design on the dial used the flower of her home country of South Africa, the King Protea, for its pattern. The brand has enriched the La Sirène collection with the La Sirène Diamant and the La Sirène Rubis (shown). The La Sirène Rubis has a 39-mm white-gold case with an ultra-light titanium core. The mother-of-pearl dial has diamonds, rubies and sapphires set in the floral pattern. The bezel is also set with diamonds, rubies and sapphires, and one sapphire tops the crown. Baume & Mercier’s Classima collection takes its inspiration from a 1940s’ museum piece in the company’s archives. This Classima ladies’ model has a 31-mm steel case and a mother-of-pearl dial with diamond indexes and a date window at 3 o’clock. Roman numerals grace the dial at 6, 9 and 12. The leaf-shaped hands are rhodium-plated. Swiss made quartz movement. Sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 50 meters. Alligator leather strap. $1,590.
The new Blancpain Date Moon Phases women’s timepiece is part of Blancpain’s Villeret collection. This rose-gold watch has an opaline dial with solid leaf-shaped hands, a pointer- type date display and a sapphire moon-phase indication. The moon has a feminine face with a playful “beauty spot” at the corner of its smiling mouth. The 29.20-mm case is topped by a bezel adorned with 48 full-cut diamonds and eight diamonds for indexes on the dial. Automatic 913QL movement with 40-hour power reserve. Sapphire caseback. Taupe-colored alligator strap. $19,000.
The BRS Novarosa, inspired by the pink hues of Supernovae, enriches Bell & Ross’s collection of stellar watches. The stunning pink of the dial evokes the explosion of a Supernova that reveals a striking pink halo. Available in three versions: one with 12 indexes formed by round diamonds set in faceted chatons on the dial, one with 66 additional round diamonds on the bezel, and one without diamonds with baton-shaped metal appliqué indexes. 39-mm steel case. Bovet’s Château de Môtiers 40 “Papillon” debuts a luminous timepiece whose butterfly motif brings a new dimension to the decorative arts with a dial that combines the traditional technique of miniature painting with the layered application of luminescent material. The artisan applies the luminescent material to achieve the same level of detail by night as by day and the work painted on the dial’s surface is visible both day and night. The dial is white mother-of-pearl adorned with a miniature painting of a butterfly. The 40-mm rose-gold case has its bow and bezel set with 109 round-cut diamonds. Self-winding Caliber 11BA15 movement has a power reserve of 42 hours. Alligator strap with rose-gold ardillon buckle. $49,000.
With the rose-gold Tradition Dame, Breguet has feminized a model whose aesthetic essence lies in mechanical horology. The barrel is clearly visible, decorated with a rosette motif, and overlapped at 12 o’clock by an offset dial in natural white mother-of-pearl. The main movement gears and bridges are in full view, yet the hours and minutes pointed to by rose-gold open-tipped Breguet hands can be read easily. The bezel of the 37-mm case has 68 brilliant-cut diamonds, while a watch jewel tops the crown. Self-winding Caliber 505SR has a 50-hour power reserve and a silicon Breguet balance spring. Bremont has added two new rose-gold variations to its SOLO 32 collection of ladies’ mechanical chronometers, one in white and one in black. The black version, the SOLO 32 LG/RG (shown), honors World War II pilot Lettice Curtis, who flew with the Air Transport Auxiliary and was the first woman to qualify to fly a four-engine bomber. The opaline black dial has applied rose-gold Roman numerals and indexes and solid rose-gold hands. The 32-mm rose-gold case has Bremont’s three-part Trip-Tick case construction. The Lvcea Moon Phases by Bulgari has a dial graced with an aperture forming the arc of a circle stretching across the upper part of the mother-of-pearl dial. The moon-phase opening reveals a heart of ruby stone. The dial is set with diamond hour markers. The 36-mm rose-gold case has strap lugs and bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The rose-gold crown is set with a cabochon-cut pink stone and diamond. The hands are rose-gold plated. Red alligator strap with rose-gold ardillon buckle. Also available in a white-gold version with diamonds on the dial, bezel and strap lugs or in a steel version with a rose-gold bezel and diamond hour markers. As shown: $30,200.
Bulova’s Rubaiyat collection of female-focused watch designs debuted in 1917. Today, the collection celebrates a century past, fusing modern design with long-standing roots in the art of craftsmanship and empowered femininity. In this model, the heritage is reinvented in a 35-mm rose-gold-tone 316L stainless-steel case with 50 diamonds individually hand set on the case parentheses. At 12 o’clock is a synthetic blue spinel cabochon crown. Silver-white dial with domed sapphire crystal. Rose-gold-tone stainless-steel bracelet with double-press deployant closure. $995.
The new Carl F. Bucherer Manero Perpheral has a bezel pavéd with 60 diamonds and a mother-of-pearl dial in either snow white or velvet brown. The round stainless-steel case is 40 mm in diameter and has a sapphire caseback. The automatic in-house Caliber CFB A2050 is COSC certified and has a power reserve of 55 hours. Small seconds subdial at 6 and date at 3 o’clock. The Louisiana alligator strap has a stainless-steel pin buckle. As shown: $9,800.
The new Citizen L Sunrise LS has a slightly larger case measuring 33 mm, floating diamonds and a diamond crown. The mother-of-pearl dial has Roman numerals at 12 and 6. Sapphire crystal above the dial. Silver-tone stainless-steel case and bracelet. The Eco-Drive E031 movement can generate power from any light source to keep the watch running without replacing the battery. $695.
Corum’s new Golden Bridge Round 39 is sized for a women’s wrist. Following the design codes of Art Deco, the new model creates a play of round and rectangular shapes. The combination of round case and engraved inline movement turned on its side complement one another, while the extra embellishment of precious resin and diamonds surrounding the fully visible caliber add color and eye-catching brilliance. Three new ladies’ versions of the Horological Smartwatch have been introduced by Frédérique Constant. The new models showcase intricate detailed dials with mother-of-pearl on the outer dial ring and applied Roman numeral indexes. The “activity and sleep-tracking” subdial is in the center. The watch carries the latest “notify” features for call and email notifications. When the watch is paired with the MMT-365 app, calls are automatically linked to the smartwatch. The 34-mm case comes in an all-steel version and one in steel with a rose-gold plated bezel (shown). The watch is powered by the MMT-281 quartz module. Rubber strap in white or black. Jaeger-LeCoultre has added a moon-phase function to its Rendez-Vous collection. The Rendez-Vous Moon Medium has a 34-mm stainless-steel case and a bezel set with diamonds. The dial has a finely worked elliptical guilloché pattern on both the dial and the moon-phase disk. The moon-phase function boasts the ultimate in precision with a lag time of only one day every 972 years. Automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 935A has a 40-hour power reserve. The Jaquet Droz Petite Heure Minute Astorite has one solid, hand-polished piece of astorite, a rare gem from the U.S., embellishing its dial. The legend of John Astor becomes Jaquet Droz’s own legend; the stone named in his honor comes from the Colorado mine that belonged to the entrepreneur who perished on the Titanic. The pink stone sparkles with gold and silver and black flecks and veins. Off-center hours and minutes subdial with white mother-of-pearl. 35-mm rose-gold case with diamonds set in the bezel and lugs. Longines is enriching its Symphonette collection with new models that blend rose gold and steel. The solid rose-gold crown and touches of pink on the dial match the bracelet that intertwines steel and rose-gold cap. The dial is decorated with a rose-gold hourglass. The model shown has an intricate white mother-of- pearl dial with Arabic numerals and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The case measures 21.9 mm by 34 mm; a smaller version is also available. The Montblanc Bohème Day & Night is defined by its special complication and characteristic Bohème guilloché dial. The day and night indication allows the wearer to see precisely which part of the day or night it is. Automatic movement MB29.17 with its complication makes it possible to precisely set the sunrise and the sunset to match the corresponding time. The time can be adjusted to the right part of the day by turning the crown and to show the corresponding date. 42-hour power reserve. The new Nomos Club Campus has a 36-mm stainless-steel case and a white silver-plated dial. A red outline around the numerals and indexes gives the watch a refreshing look. Patek Philippe’s Calatrava Haute Joaillerie Ref. 4899 is a feminine companion in white gold and mother-of-pearl with rare white Top Wesselton diamonds and pink sapphires. The mother-of- pearl dial is engraved, as are the hands. The crown is set with diamonds and topped with a pink sapphire. The alligator strap with prong buckle is set with diamonds and pink sapphires. A total of 702 precious stones adorn this model (approximately 4.35 carats). Ralph Lauren’s newest RL888 timepieces feature a delicate diamond setting whose pattern evokes the natural beauty of snowfall. An intricate pattern of diamonds in assorted sizes circles the bezel on the collection’s signature round case, which is available in two sizes. The 32-mm case (shown) is set with 99 diamonds while the 38-mm case is set with 153 diamonds. The Art Deco-inspired dials have Breguet-style hands and boast a unique combination of Arabic and Roman numerals, which make a bold but refined statement. Both timepieces have quartz movements. This new version of Rolex’s classic Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust 28 has a 28-mm 904L steel case and a new-generation mechanical movement, Caliber 2236, with a Rolex-patented Syloxi hairspring in silicon. The movement has a self-winding module via a Perpetual rotor and a 55-hour power reserve. The winding crown is fitted with the Twinlock double water-resistance system, water resistant to 100 meters. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal has a Cyclops lens at 3 o’clock. The TAG Heuer Link goes back to 1987, defined by its recognizable bracelet with signature S-shaped links. The new Link Lady, in steel with a 32-mm case, has a bracelet that is fully integrated into the case. The horns have been removed and the contour of the “S” radiates a highly polished shine. The case has four subtle corners. The bezel and an offset ring may be satin finished or set with diamonds. The dial has either a navy blue sunray finish or mother-of-pearl coated with pink lacquer.
