The RM 27-01 was first unveiled in Geneva during SIHH as the “the world’s lightest tourbillon” (19 grams strap included). The RM 27-01 was created by Richard Mille in collaboration with Nadal, like the RM 027 Tourbillon and the RM 035 Chronofiable® certified before it. The movement is held in total suspension at its heart, with a baseplate attached to the case by four braided steel cables just 0.35 mm in diameter. The caliber can withstand accelerations of over 5,000 Gs.
The RM 27-01, available in carbon nanotubes and supplied on a velcro strap, is available in a limited edition of 50 timepieces.
