Angus Davies is a self-confessed watch fanatic. His interest in watches has been a preoccupying obsession throughout his adulthood, with him often succumbing to the temptations of "just one more watch." He has his own watch website, ESCAPEMENT, which was founded in 2011 and he regularly contributes to magazines in his native England, as well as in Switzerland and the US. Angus regularly travels to Switzerland to visit watch manufacturers and freely admits he has a keen interest in movement finishing and the work of independent brands.
