Save the Date: WatchTime Returns to LA (May 20-21)

WatchTime Los Angeles, the West Coast extension of WatchTime’s mega-popular series of collectors’ events, made a fantastic debut in 2019, drawing more than 500 guests and featuring nearly 30 sponsoring watch brands. This year, WatchTime is finally returning with a sequel to downtown L.A.’s Hudson Loft — just minutes from Staples Center — on May 20-21, promising a strong cast of amazing timepieces, entertaining panels, and chances to hobnob and mingle with fellow watch enthusiasts and brand executives.

Safety protocols are in place to keep guests and sponsors healthy. WatchTime publisher Sara Orlando: “The team, our followers, collectors, and the exhibiting watch brands have all been looking forward to finally meet again in person in LA. After a successful and safe show last autumn in New York, we are closely following CDC and CDPH guidelines to ensure the health and comfort of all attendees.”

The 2022 edition of WatchTime L.A., like its predecessor, opens with a VIP cocktail reception on Friday evening, May 20th, featuring a full, premium open bar and passed hors d’oeuvres; in addition, complimentary valet parking is offered for the first 100 guests. WatchTime will also be offering a ride sharing credit for guests not wishing to drive. Attendees at the Friday night session will have the opportunity to try on some of the newest and most exclusive timepieces as well as meet the executives, designers, watchmakers, and brand founders behind them.

The show continues on Saturday, May 21, in an all-day session that offers additional time to get up close and personal with the latest luxury watches from brands large and small, enjoy light refreshments, and attend panel discussions with industry VIPs throughout the day. A full list of this year’s partnering watch brands will be announced soon.

About the location: Hudson Loft is a photo, film, and event space, located in the South Park district of DTLA, just two blocks east of the Staples Center and LA Live, off of 12th & Hope. The name was inspired by the history of the building itself, which was once a Hudson car dealership in the 1930’s.
