This picture for me is everything you would expect from a watch. Classic Look
Another vote for the Polerouter. A beautiful timepiece captured in a beautiful photograph! Perfect color combination with the gloves, sleeves, and the blurry road ahead. And thanks Rozzy for the interesting history of this piece. Congrats in advance!
Active elegance, life is beautiful
Gorgeous Universal with perfect backdrop and color composition and focus on the timepiece. My #1 vote but I have to say all submissions are wonderful.
Universal Genève photo- classic, clean, evokes a sense of movement on the road with elegance. So simple, yet so sophisticated. Makes me want to buy that watch.
The vintage Universel stand out in composition, creativity and quality
OMG – That Vianney Halter is straight out of a Salvador Dali nightmare. Never in my life have I seen an uglier watch! You’d have to pay ME to wear one, because I sure wouldn;t do it on my own.
Fantastic looking watch I want one.
I own one Polerouter in SS, brown face, works perfectly, is anyone interested in it? drop me a line. Thank you.

Hello everybody,
Thanks for the nice words. I’m glad that you like my picture. I’m from Sweden and the picture is taken close to home near Stockholm. The Universal Geneve Polerouter has a close bindings to Sweden as it was ordered from Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) for their pilots and crew on their new America route crossing the polar circle in early fifties. The watch is also one of Gerald Gentas first designs!
Yours is a great photo because it tells a story. Now we have the story behind the story.
Cool universal geneve
In my opinion the best composition between a very beautiful wristwatch and the photo environment.

Classic!
Some nice watches for sure but I feel some people need to use a little more imagination on their shots. A very expensive watch a bit of woolly cuff is not necessarily going to win it for you.
Everyone is welcome to send in their best effort when we run the next one.
Cheers, Steve
Hello to the owner of the Vintage Omega LCD Quartz. If that watch is up for sale I would like to purchase it. How much would you like for it?
Magnificent picture. Nice match between white snow and black road, plus black coat and white sweater, as a perfect frame for the gorgeous yellow gold classic and timeless Universal Geneve.

Hi Larry,
Hopefully you voted for it down at the bottom of the article. There were some great submissions and we’re curious to see which of our picks the readers like the best.
Basic criteria informing my choice:
– the watch face must be featured clearly
-it should be worn north of the ulnar head if at all sporty or a tool watch
The watch should appear on the left wrist unless the wearer is left handed
The watch should be observed in its natural setting: holding a glass of champagne,an ice ax,a standard transmission shifter, etc.
The watch need not be out of the box.
Cheers Dr.mike
But how would we know who is a righty and who is a lefty?
Cheers, Steve
Beautiful wrist shot and gorgeous backdrop and artistic composition….definitely a winner photo
