Tourneau’s Howard Levitt to Step Down as CEO

Tourneau, LLC has announced that Howard R. Levitt has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2009. Mr. Levitt will continue to serve on the company’s Board, and he will continue as CEO until a new leader is selected. The company’s Board, with the participation of Mr. Levitt, will identify his successor in the coming months.

Robert J. Wexler, Tourneau’s Chairman of the Board, said, “We would like to thank Howard for the significant contributions he has made to Tourneau over the last 18 years. He has been instrumental in the company’s growth and we look forward to his continued participation on the Board.”

Howard Levitt said, “I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of growing the company into a leader in fine watch retailing. We have a great team in place and the company is well positioned for the future.”

Established in 1900, Tourneau distributes and retails many leading brands, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Omega, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Breguet, Girard-Perregaux, Glashütte Orignial, IWC, Panerai, Ulysse Nardin and Vacheron Constantin. The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes Tourneau as the world’s largest watch store.
