Fly & Dive: TAG Heuer Unveils Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT

At the height of the travel and aquatic season, TAG Heuer adds a new member to its Aquaracer family. As the name implies, the Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT sports a water resistance up to 300 meters – in contrast to the Aquaracer Professional 200 introduced in a new generation last year – and a GMT function to indicate a second time zone. This sought-after luxury tool watch comes in a 43mm stainless steel case and features a color scheme that reflects the sky, the sun, and the water. While the dial with its signature horizontal lines and a date indication at 6 o’clock is a deep midnight blue, the luminous-filled hands and octagonal and trapezoid-shaped hour markers are white. The GMT and the second hands are executed in yellow.

The two-tone color-coordinated 12-sided unidirectional bezel is made from scratch-resistant ceramic and boasts a 24-hour scale engraved with contrasting colors: black for the day hours and white for night time. The central GMT hour, which makes a full circle in 24 hours and is set via the crown, is finished with yellow lacquer and tipped with luminous coating.

The automatic Calibre 7 GMT ticks behind the line’s signature case back decorated with a repeating hexagon motif and the famous scaphander diving suit.

The Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT is offered with a rubber strap and a three-link metal, the later features a fine adjustment system. It will be available from August 2022 and has a price tag of $3,800.
