Awesome Architecture: Mido Launches All Dial 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

This year, Mido celebrates the 20th anniversary of the All Dial collection. Debuted in 2002, the first All Dial model paid tribute to Rome’s Colosseum. Inspired by the ancient amphitheater’s open architecture, the watch face is designed as wide as possible and surrounded by a slim bezel. Kicking off the anniversary year is the All Dial 20th Anniversary Limited Edition displaying the weekday and date at 3 o’clock.

The finely grained anthracite-colored dial features several levels, so that it really does have an architectural look reminiscent of the Colosseum. However, it is not only the visual appearance that is stunning, but the inner values are also state of the art. Its automatic movement, Caliber 80, is outfitted with with a silicon balance-spring with improved anti-magnetic properties, shock-resistance, and long-term accuracy. In addition, it amasses a comfortable power reserve of 80 hours and earns a COSC-chronometer certificate. Water-resistant to 100 meters and equipped with an integrated metal bracelet, the anniversary model comes in a 42-mm stainless-steel case and has a price tag of $1,490.
