A Pop of Color: Sinn Spezialuhren Launches Four Limited 556 Models

In recent years, the watch world has experienced a color revolution. After the manufacturers of mechanical premium watches had been cautious for decades about this topic and most of their models were presented with a black, white or silver face, blue suddenly made its appearance in all shades and is now a classic. It was soon followed by another refined colorway, green, now, just as blue, a proverbial “evergreen” on watch faces. Today, a large proportion of the latest releases celebrate colors in all shades and hues.

The latest example are the four debutantes in Sinn Spezialuhren’s 556 Series. Limited to 400 pieces each, they are available with metallic shimmering dials in emerald green, citrine yellow, aquamarine blue, and carnelian red and offer strong technical features, such as a water-resistance to 200 meters, two sapphire crystals and low pressure resistance. Their stainless-steel cases have a diameter of 38.5mm and a height of just 11mm. The automatic caliber Sellita 200-1 sets the pace inside.

The 556 timepieces are attached to a canvas leather strap in gray featuring a butterfly folding clasp and retail for approximately $1,400 when converted to USD.
