New York Mets ace Matt Harvey recently pitched his first career shutout against the Colorado Rockies, adding to an already impressive resume. He’s also, apparently, become something of a watch enthusiast. Sharp-eyed fans of baseball and watches may have noticed the pitcher’s recent timepiece of choice — the CT Scuderia Salt Flat Racer “0-60” — which Harvey was first seen wearing during MLB All-Star week festivities in New York. (In the 2013 All-Star Game, played at the Mets’ home ballpark, Citi Field, Harvey was the starting pitcher for the National League team.)
The Salt Flat Racer “0-60” worn by Harvey, style CS1020, is powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement. The watch has a 46-mm-diameter case in stainless steel and a changeable brown leather strap.
