Tourneau Celebrates Holiday Season

p150Watch retailer Tourneau kicked off the holiday season with a Christmas celebration at its NYC Concept Store. WatchTime’s Mike Disher and Mark Bernardo were among the guests, all of whom were treated to the unveiling of the “World’s Largest Mistletoe Ball,” measuring approximately six feet in diameter; the first performance of the season by the New Boys and Girls Choir of Harlem (of which Tourneau is a sponsor); and an appearance by Tony- and Emmy-Award-Winning actress Kristin Chenoweth. The atmosphere was yuletide festive, with Kristin sharing a kiss with Santa Claus under the mistletoe ball and the choir regaling the crowd with Christmas carols. In addition to the free-flowing Champagne, there was a tequila-and-chocolate tasting sponsored by the Chicago-based chocolatier Vosges and Casa Dragones tequila.

Tourneau is inviting all shoppers to share a kiss under the mistletoe ball, as part of a new digital campaign that will capture these “kiss cam” moments and add them to a digital quilt to be displayed in-store and on Tourneau’s Facebook page. Users will then have the chance to win a ‘his and hers’ Tourneau watch, from its TNY series, if their picture is chosen as the winner.
