Chopard, which has been the official timekeeper of the biennial Grand Prix de Monaco Historique (GPMH) since 2002, will remain in partnership with the classic-cars racing event through 2018. The next Grand Prix, scheduled for May 9 – 11, 2014, will mark the seventh time in a row that Chopard serves as official timekeeper.
Since 2002, Chopard has created a limited-edition watch for every Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, all equipped with COSC-certified movements and featuring a design inspired by the automobile world.
Organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), the GPMH is a historical retrospective of Monaco’s famous car race, featuring more than 200 drivers from 19 different countries, with Grand Prix racing cars dating back to between 1947 and 1978, competing in a series of seven races.
