Sponsored: Bulova Expands Classic Collection With Wilton GMT

Fusing modern day technology with traditional design, Bulova’s Classic Wilton GMT is an effortless combination of timeless elegance and true GMT functionality. Built upon the foundation of quality craftsmanship with an unwavering drive for perfection, efficiency, and precision, Bulova adds this new complication as a first in the brand’s aptly named Classic collection. The effect is a duo of charming, travel-ready timepieces, each as versatile in wear as appealing on the wrist.

Offered in a 43mm stainless steel case, the new travel watch is offered in two variations– steel with a navy-blue dial and secured via black embossed alligator leather strap, or in gold tone with white dial opting for a brown embossed alligator leather strap. Roman numeral indices, hands, and other accents on each model correspond to the metallic tone of its case, as does the frame of the date window at 3 o’clock.

Multiple time zones can be read at glance via the GMT-equipped display, with both the travel hand and matching “GMT” script on the dial marked with a bright red accent. The travel hand points to the bi-colored dial ring curved on the outer edge of the dial, with 24-hour markings helping indicate a second time zone.

Notably, the watch features a true traveler GMT capability, with the local hand able to be set independently and allowing for quick time changes for those quickly changing time zones. Strengthening the global aesthetic of the design, the new Wilton GMT makes us of a textured World Map pattern on its dial surface, the look featuring raised continents and latitude and longitude coordinates above the sea.

Powered by the premium Miyota 9075 Caliber 24 jewel self-winding movement, the model is accurate to -10 seconds to +30 seconds a day. The 9075 is a 4-hand GMT movement and as mentioned hosts a true traveler GMT mechanism, marking a first from Miyota. It offers a 42-hour power reserve and is water resistant up to 30M.

Joining Bulova’s esteemed Wilton series and larger Classic collection, the new GMT-equipped design serves as an attractive and affordable automatic timepiece, and importantly one ready for world travelers and fine watch enthusiasts, alike.

The Bulova Classic Wilton GMT begins at retail for $875 for the silver tone edition, and is marked at $895 for the gold tone variation.
