Zenith Extends Defy Skyline Collection with Ice Blue Dials

Zenith unveils three new boutique-exclusive editions of the DEFY Skyline in 41mm and 36mm, each with metallic ice-blue dials. Their sunray-brush finish is enhanced by the brand’s hallmark pattern of four pointed-stars. Each case is water-resistant to 100 meters and distinguished by the signature dodecagonal bezel, directly inspired by the earliest DEFY wristwatches from 1969.

Equipped with a genuine automatic manufacture movement, the DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition in 41mm ticks via the El Primero 3620 automatic high-frequency calibre. It features a 1/10th of a second indicator that’s driven directly from the 5Hz escapement. It offers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours and is endowed with a stop-second mechanism for precise time-setting.

The smaller 36mm version of the DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition, which is also available with a diamond-studded bezel, runs on the Elite 670 automatic manufacture movement with an autonomy of 50 hours. Both calibers feature star-shaped oscillating weights that can be admired through the sapphire crystal exhibition backs.

The DEFY Skyline Boutique Edition is delivered on a steel bracelet with a satin-brushed surface, with an additional color-coordinated rubber strap available. The DEFY Skyline Ice Blue Boutique Edition in 41mm is available exclusively at the brand’s online boutique. The two 36mm versions are available from both physical and online Zenith boutiques.

Pricing is marked at $8,500 for the Zenith Defy Skyline 36mm, at $12,000 for the Zenith Defy Skyline 36mm with diamonds, and at $9,000 for the Zenith Defy Skyline 41 mm.

Zenith has also announced an extended strap service of its online boutiques. It will be rolled out in Europe and available in North America and Japan from September.
