Perrelet’s latest timepiece places the moonphase display front and center and scales it up dramatically for maximum effect. Developed and manufactured by the group’s affiliate, MHVJ, (Manufacture horlogère Vallée de Joux). The Big Central Moonphase combines a striking appearance with precision. The 42mm x 14.3mm case houses an automatic movement with 29 jewels and a 40 hour power reserve. The Big Central Moonphase has three interacting central components: a carrier, starwheel and pinion. The mechanism does not require correction for more than 100 years.

The USA retail price is $5,500.
