Smaller Case Size, Same Great Entrance: Hamilton Releases Khaki Field Murph 38mm

Swiss-based Hamilton has followed the trend of producing smaller watch cases, and continuing it introduces the Khaki Field Murph Auto 38mm. Featured in the motion picture Interstellar, this stainless-steel timepiece, known as “The Murph,” is water-resistant to 100 meters— marrying an authentic field-watch style with state-of-the art mechanics.

Reflecting the key aesthetic codes of its 42mm predecessor, its deep black dial displays bold Arabic numerals and cathedral hands coated with beige vintage-style Superluminova.

The three-hand timekeeper is powered by Hamilton’s H-10 automatic movement boasting an 80-hour power reserve. Its traditional finishing details, such as perlage and polishing, and its partially skeletonized rotor come to life through the sapphire cases back. The Hamilton Khaki Field Murph 38mm is fitted with a black leather strap. Pricing is marked at $895.
