Shades of Gray: Czapek Adds to the Antarctique Collection

The Antarctique collection from Swiss independent luxury brand Czapek is comprised of sporty luxury watches with integrated metal bracelets, a characteristic style of the 70s. The latest edition introduced at this year’s Watches and Wonders is the Antarctique Titanium Dark Sector, a watch that lives up to its name with a decidedly cool appeal. The titanium watch utilizes different shades of gray that tastefully complement one other, contrasted by a dark red seconds hand tip and a 12 o’clock index.

This purist watch face displays the hours through cutouts that interrupt two concentric circles 12 times. Thanks to the screw-down crown, the titanium timepiece offers a water resistance to 120 meters.

Measuring 40.5mm in diameter and 10.6mm high, the Antarctique Titanium Dark Sector is powered by the cutting-edge and beautifully finished SXH5 caliber with platinum micro-rotor. The mechanism is manufactured in collaboration with the Swiss movement specialist Chronode and has a 60-hour power reserve.

The Czapek Antarctique Titanium Dark Sector is limited to production of 100 pieces per year with pricing marked at approximately $44,000 when converted to USD.
