Britain’s Bremont Watch Co. unveiled its new timepiece collection for the first time to U.S. audience yesterday, at a special VIP dinner co-hosted by WatchTime and held at the new Watches of Switzerland boutique in New York’s SoHo district.
More than a dozen guests joined Bremont co-founder Giles English, Watches of Switzerland Group EVP David Hurley, and representatives from the WatchTime team for a cocktail hour followed by a three-course meal, punctuated by English regaling the crowd with stories behind the Bremont brand and introducing the new watches it’s launching in 2019.
The timepieces made their way around the dinner table to enthusiastic attendees, including the British Ministry of Defence-approved Armed Forces Collection pieces; the MBIII/10th celebrating 10 years of Bremont’s partnership with ejector-seat manufacturer Martin Baker; the Supermarine S2000 Red and S2000 Blue extreme dive watches; and the new white-dialed Supermarine S300, which we cover in detail here.
Dinner concluded with WatchTime Editor-in-Chief Roger Ruegger conducting a Q&A with English in which guests were given the opportunity to ask their own questions of the Bremont co-founder over dessert and coffee. Stay tuned to WatchTime.com in the coming weeks for detailed coverage of more watches from Bremont’s 2019 collection.
