Norqain launches two new variants of its popular, vintage-inspired Freedom 60 Chronograph this month, now with a goldilocks diameter of 40mm and the choice of a royal blue or anthracite dial. The colors beautifully contrast with the white flange and the three counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock of the two-layer watch face, which is protected by a domed sapphire glass. Old Radium Super-Luminova luminous markers and faceted hands coated with the same luminous material improve the legibility in the dark and add a nice retro-style touch.

The rear side is also a feast for the eyes: Norqain’s automatic winding caliber NN18, based on ETA Valjoux 7753, with a branded oscillating weight comes to life trough the exhibition case back.

In keeping with its promise for sustainability, the 2022 Freedom 60 Chronograph is available with four vegan straps and bracelet. The version with the latter retails for $4,190. Attached to the standard “Perlon rubber strap” the pricing is $4,090; the tide ocean SA “Nortide” ($3,920) and Alcantara straps ($3,920) are new additions.
