On Thursday night, WatchTime Editor-in-Chief Roger Ruegger hosted a panel on collecting vintage and modern timepieces with members of the Chrono Group at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA, as a part of the ongoing “The Art of the Timepiece” event series. Tonight, we wanted to alert our readers and collectors in the Orange County area of another discussion that our friends at The Hollywood Reporter are hosting at South Coast Plaza featuring basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, TV personality and “image architect” Law Roach, and Funny Or Die’s president, Chris Bruss. The discussion will explore the intersection of watches, style and entertainment and the symbiotic relationships among the three.
The panel will be moderated by The Hollywood Reporter’s Watch Editor Degen Pener, who co-hosted the celebrity panel at WatchTime Los Angeles last month, and will run from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. today. Champagne and light bites will be served. If interested in attending, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
