Last Tuesday, WatchTime and Swiss watch manufacture Roger Dubuis hosted an intimate collectors’ dinner at the brand’s Madison Avenue boutique for about a dozen guests.
French chef Yann Nury, who specializes in highly personalized, experience-focused dinners, prepared an unforgettable four-course dinner on-site, whilst Nicolas Fermont, Roger Dubuis Marketing Director for North America, and his team presented some of the brand’s highlights from the 2016 collection.
One of those highlights was just recently introduced (see article here): The Excalibur Spider Skeleton Flying Tourbillon Americas edition, limited to just 20 pieces and available exclusively at the Roger Dubuis boutique in New York. The 45-mm titanium watch is powered by the brand’s in-house caliber RD505SQ, which consists of 179 parts and offers a power reserve of 60 hours. As the name suggests, the watch features a flying tourbillon at 7 o’clock.
The movement comes with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève (Hallmark of Geneva).
