Jaw-Dropping: Bell & Ross Introduces BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze with Automaton Function

The skull has long been a popular motif in art, pointing to the transience of life. It is also an inspiration in the world of fine watchmaking, which some brands bring to life with great attention to detail. The latest example is the BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze from Bell & Ross. Limited to 500 pieces, it picks up on the the Cyber Skull series, introduced in 2020 as the fourth member of the lineage of skull timepieces at Bell & Ross.

The new BR01 Cyber Skull Bronze takes shape in a 45 x 46.7 mm square case with distinctive edges and bevelled corners, this time with the skull taking center stage on its dial. Plated in pink gold, it almost entirely covers the movement, Caliber BR-CAL.210, revealing the balance wheel at 12 o’clock and the barrel at 6 o’clock. When manually wound, the jaw starts to move, giving the impression of laughing.

Pricing for the Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze is marked at $11,400.
