Glashütte Original Launches New Version of the SeaQ Panorama Date

A new watch year, a new dial color: Glashütte Original is adding once again to its successful SeaQ collection, this time with a bold green dial for the SeaQ Panorama Date. As is de rigeur for a professional diver’s watch tested in accordance with ISO 6425, the face, produced in the brand’s own dial manufacture, is coated with Superluminova for best readability and framed by a diver’s bezel. As the name suggests, the German brand’s genuine outsize date, fittingly called “Panorama Date,” is positioned at 4 o’clock.

The latest version of the history-charged timepiece that recalls a diver’s watch produced during the GDR era is presented in a stainless-steel case that is pressure-resistant to 30 bar and has a diameter of 43.2 mm. It houses the automatic manufacture caliber 36-13, which, thanks to its bayonet mounting, is highly shockproof and amasses a power reserve of up to 100 hours. In addition, the movement is resistant to magnetic fields thanks to a silicon hairspring. These technical features are complemented by the brand’s high finishing standards in accordance with traditional Glashütte-style decorations which can be admired through the exhibition caseback.

The SeaQ Panorama Date is available with a resilient textile or rubber strap for approximately $11,500 and with a metal bracelet for $12,400.
