Frederique Constant Releases New Runabout Automatic Models

This year, Frederique Constant adds two limited editions of the Runabout Automatic – one in stainless steel and one with a rose gold plating – to the nautically inspired collection, each limited to 888 pieces. With a case diameter of 42mm, the timeless watches are suited to both men’s and women’s wrists.

On the dial, the models adopt the “Clous de Paris” guilloché pattern from the first Runabout Automatic. This decorative pattern creates an iridescent effect on both the silver and black dial surfaces. In addition, the watch faces are distinguished by large luminous Arabic hour appliqués and a minute track with Arabic numerals, also in five-minute increments, on an altitude ring. The hands match the color of the case and are either rose gold-plated, made of stainless steel, or blued.

Both new variants of the Runabout Automatic are powered by the Sellita-based caliber FC-303, which offers a power reserve of 38 hours and ticks behind a sapphire crystal case back. The stainless steel watch is offered on a blue-gray leather strap, while the rose gold-plated model is held on the wrist by a navy blue leather strap.

Pricing for the new Frederique Constant Runabout Automatic starts at $1,895.
