Frederique Constant Celebrates the 70th Anniversary of Austin-Healey with Two Limited Chronographs

Gentleman, start your engines: Frederique Constant launches two limited edition chronographs to honor the 70th anniversary of Austin-Healey. The Swiss watch brand and the British car maker have been partners since 2004. Since then it has been a nice tradition at Frederique Constant to honor their friendship with limited editions within the Vintage Rally collection.

On the occasion of Austin-Healey’s 70th anniversary, the Geneva-based brand even delights with two special chronographs distinguished by a bicompax dial in British racing green with red hands for the seconds indications. Both are introduced in a 42mm stainless steel case and driven by the self-winding FC-397 calibre, based on a Sellita movement, which comes to life through the exhibition case back.

They only differ in one small detail: While the one displaying an Arabic 12 on the dial is limited to 700 pieces, only ten models of the one with an Arabic 70 will be produced. Both are equipped with a black calf leather strap with white stitching that adds to the vintage charisma and retail for approximately $2,800 when converted into USD.
