Frederique Constant Announces Special Edition of the Classics Worldtimer Manufacture for U.S. Market

It’s all in the name. The Classics Worldtimer Manufacture from Frederique Constant is a refined wristwatch with a world time function, being driven by a manufacture movement and showcasing a notably classic style. Indicating the time – including day and night hours – in the 24 cities that represent the 24 time zones, the watch makes use of a worldtimer complication, with the mechanism first premiering in the brand’s catalogue ten years ago and since becoming a staple for the Geneva firm. Like previous worldtimer watches, this latest from Frederique Constant’s defining characteristics are the beautifully depicted world map in the center and its user-friendly setting of all functions via the crown.

This latest edition pays ode to the brand’s U.S. customers, with Frederique Constant announcing the special limited edition as being exclusively produced for the U.S. market and for to be launched in November 2022. Commemorating the Declaration of Independence, the worldtimer recalls the colors of the flag and features a light blue and silver dial, a white 24H-disc with day (white) & night (blue) indication and the US flag, blue hour and minute hands, a red second hand. In addition, a red star replaces the 4 in the subdial for the pointer date.

The 42mm stainless steel case houses the automatic in-house caliber FC-718. Its meticulous perlage and circular Geneva Wave decorations can be admired through the sapphire case back. This timepiece comes on a red genuine alligator leather strap with off-white stitching with an additional white genuine alligator leather strap as well as a blue rubber strap.

The new Frederique Constant Classics Worldtimer Manufacture US Special Edition is available for pre-order now with the delivery marked for November, with its pricing marked at $4,795 USD.
