Building upon the success of the Diver X Skeleton in blue unveiled last year, Ulysse Nardin now presents an update to the series via the Diver X Skeleton Black, a limited edition of 175 pieces in a sandblasted DLC titanium case that is water resistant to 200 meters. It has a diameter of 44mm and is equipped with a light weight and highly robust carbonium diver’s bezel made from waste aerospace material used for fuselage and wings.
It frames the dial that allows for an unobstructed presentation of the self-winding skeletonized caliber UN-371 that is designed in the shape of the Swiss brand’s X. Different levels of finishes create a play of light and amplify the transparency of the movement, which features a silicon escape wheel, anchor and balance spring for increased precision and performance.
This technical marvel comes with both a yellow rubber strap and a black fabric R-strap made of upcycled polyamide from waste fishing nets. The new Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton Black is priced at $28,500.
