A Touch of Gold and Ice-Blue: Tissot Adds Two New Colors to Midsize PRX Powermatic 80 Lineup

Earlier this year, Tissot expanded its popular PRX Powermatic 80 collection with 35mm executions. Now the Swiss tradition brand expands this entry-level sports watch collection with an integrated bracelet geared to smaller wrists with two new color variants. One combines the sought-after ice blue color with classic stainless steel, the other has its entrance in a gold PVD treated stainless steel case with a gold-colored dial. Both dials feature the cool stamped tapisserie pattern that is reserved for the mechanic executions and a date indication at 3 o’clock and are treated with Super-Luminova for best readability at night.

The case of the new design has a diameter of 35mm and features polished as well as satin-finished details. Water resistant to 100 meters, it holds the Powermatic 80 caliber. This modern-day work horse delivers a namesake power reserve of 80 hours and is equipped with a Nivachron hairspring.

Pricing for the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 35MM is marked at $695 for the steel variant and at $825 for the PVD gold execution.
