Louis Erard Introduces Le Régulateur Grand Feu Enamel with Donzé Cadrans

Louis Erard and Donzé Cadrans have teamed up for a limited edition of the independent Swiss brand’s Le Régulateur timepiece. As a result, Louis Erard’s signature model features a grand feu enamel dial, a first for the company.

A traditional and time-consuming technique, grand feu involves a meticulous process in which layers of enamel are applied and fired at temperatures exceeding 800°C. It requires a high level of expertise and experience and ensures vibrant and long-lasting colors.

On the Le Régulateur Grand Feu Enamel, the deep ivory hue provides a magnificent background for the separate time display, with the minute literally taking center stage. The traditionally blued hands in the brand’s fir-tree style contrast beautifully with the enamel background.

The Le Régulateur Grand Feu Enamel comes in a 39mm stainless steel case. It houses a personalized self-winding caliber based on the Sellita SW266-1. A gray calfskin strap completes the refined look. The watch is limited to 99 pieces and retails for CHF 4,550 or approximately $5,000 when converted to USD.
