Falling Into Color: Nomos Glashütte Adds Stunning Hues to Metro Collection

With its refreshingly distinctive design, the Metro watch family from Nomos Glashütte is aimed at enthusiasts who appreciate unique design and top-notch craftsmanship from Germany’s watch capital Glashütte.

Designed by the renowned Berlin designer Mark Braun, the Metro series has received multiple awards for its urban-inspired, finely crafted design. Its distinctive features include the long hands inspired by the silhouette of the Empire State Building, small yet sharp Arabic numerals along the periphery of the wide dial, surrounded by a slim bezel, and the crown with a ribbed pattern.

Nomos Glashütte now expands the line first introduced in 2014 with three models featuring new dial colors inspired by urban locations: Metro 33 in All Silver, Sage, and Muted Red.

They are powered by the Nomos in-house Alpha movement, the most produced and praised manual-winding caliber from Glashütte. Attached to strap made of vegan leather, they are available with either a closed case back or an exhibition case back, with pricing marked at $2,030 respectively $2,330.
