New at Watches & Wonders: Parmigiani Tonda PF Flying Tourbillon

Among the new additions to Parmigiani Fleurier’s elegant Tonda PF series introduced in fall last year, is the Tonda PF Flying Tourbillon.

Positioned at 7 o’clock, the intricate mechanism is the star on the minimalist, finely grained platinum dial which is framed by a thin knurled bezel. The 42mm case is likewise made from 950 platinum and very slim with a moderate height of 8.6mm. Notably, it is water-resistant up to 100 meters, thanks to a screw-in crown.

Inside ticks a superbly finished genuine automatic movement which is wound by a micro rotor. As is to be expected, Parmigiani delights us with an unobstructed view through an exhibition case back. The Tonda PF Flying Tourbillon is held on the wrist by a platinum bracelet and retails for approximately $150,000 euros. The edition is limited to 25 pieces.
