Bremont and Williams Racing Present the WR-45 Chronograph Limited Edition

Marking the third year of its partnership with Williams Racing, Bremont launches the WR-45 Chronograph ahead of the 77th Formula 1 Aramco British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which will take place on July 9, 2023. The limitation of only 244 pieces references the number of times Williams has achieved races in podium over the years.

The 43mm chronograph takes inspiration from this season’s Williams Racing chassis and revs up in a new design that was created with high performance and extreme durability in mind. However, it uses Bremont’s signature 3-piece Trip-Tick case construction which has been DLC treated. The black effect extends onto the dial which is punctuated with crisp white indexes and sub dials with flashes of electric blue, reflecting the Williams Racing color palette. A small seconds white dial with electric blue hand pops at 9 o’clock and sits alongside the 30-minute counter at 2 o’clock and 12-hour counter dial at 6 o’clock. As is de rigueur for a true racing watch, it features a tachymeter scale on its bezel which allows for measuring speed.

Turning the watch over reveals its exhibition case back through which the BE-53AV movement and custom, Williams Racing inspired rotor can be seen. The oscillating mass proudly displays the Williams Racing logo. The chronometer-certified WR-45 boasts a 56-hour power reserve and comes on a black Alcantara strap, a material traditionally used on old steering wheels. Each watch will come with a certified original wheel nut from historic Williams Racing cars.

“The technological crossover between Formula 1 and precision watchmaking is substantial and the compelling collaboration between Bremont and Williams Racing has really taken the brand’s Motorsport Collection to a new level. It’s wonderful to see so much energy and interest in the sport today and we’re delighted to be part of its rich history,” Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato remarks.

Pricing is marked at $6,595.

This brand is clutching at straws trying to draw reference and relevance to anything it can. Bremont has had nothing to do with F1- ever.
