Sponsored: A Bugatti for the Wrist

The first Bugatti smartwatch collection offers high-quality materials and a wide range of features.

When you think of Bugatti, you automatically think of high-priced luxury cars beyond the million-dollar mark. But there are – pun intended – smarter alternatives: the first smartwatch bearing the Bugatti brand name is a real bargain, selling for €899 (approximately $1,100) during the pre-sale phase (more information at www.bugatti-smartwatches.com). On top of that, the Bugatti Ceramique Edition One is equipped with an ingenious bezel system: Simply by exchanging the bezel, the smartwatch turns into the Bugatti Ceramique Edition One Pur Sport, the Bugatti Ceramique Edition One Le Noire, and the Bugatti Ceramique Edition One Divo. The names are based on legendary luxury cars from Bugatti.

In terms of materials, the smartwatch uses a case and bezel made of milled, scratch-resistant zirconium ceramic, which is polished, brushed and finished in a second step using laser technology. The back is made of high-strength, hypoallergenic titanium. Completing the design is a 390 x 390-pixel LED display protected by a sapphire crystal. The specially developed 445 mAh battery lasts up to 14 days. The package is rounded off by a warranty period of 5 years — unique in the smartwatch sector.

In terms of software, the Bugatti smartwatch focuses on two main areas in addition to functions such as step, calorie, sleep, water loss, activity, and heart rate tracking: Sports and health. A specially developed GPS sensor makes it possible to automatically measure lap times and acceleration values. When delivered, the smartwatch will support 72 sport disciplines and be able to measure VO2 Max, among other things. In the health area, the Bugatti smartwatch relies on a dual sensor that measures both heart rate and heart rate variability. This allows health data such as BioAge or stress levels to be accurately determined.
