Sponsored: SEVENFRIDAY Rolls Out the New Carbon Collection in Red, White, and Orange

SEVENFRIDAY is a brand that specializes in making distinctive timepieces that offer an unconventional take on timekeeping. Its latest idiosyncratic offering features the  P3C/04 Red Carbon, a motorsport-inspired watch that has been dressed in black and red to set your heart racing. The Red Carbon is part of of the SEVENFRIDAY carbon collection that also consists of the P3C/07 White Carbon and the P3C/09 Orange Carbon.

Like most SEVENFRIDAY watches, the carbon collection follows a multilayer construction that showcases an abundance of depth and detail. Beginning with the P3C/04 Red Carbon, and starting from the top, you first find a minute chapter ring with double-digit markings at intervals of five and applied indices at 12, 4, and 8. As a nod to the racing theme, the section between 40 and 60 minutes has been highlighted in red to mimic the red zone found on the RPM counters in sports cars. Stepping down a level, the next layer features the Seven Friday branding, a small yellow indicator along with the 24-hour display at 9 o’clock, a running seconds display between 4 and 5, and a small, semicircular opening that offers a glimpse of the movement’s balance wheel. Once again, most of the elements on this layer have been presented in a fiery red color to go with the sporty theme.

After seeing red with the Red Carbon, which got your heart pumping to dangerous levels, it’s now time to inject some ice cold chill into your veins with the second release from the carbon collection’s wicked designers, the P3C/07 White Carbon. From the lacquer highlights to the bezel strip, all is now frosty and cool, starting with the sunray-brushed silver white-ring dial, poised majestically like the Arctic icecap. You will remain cool knowing your watch sits securely on your wrist, held by a strap made of competition-grade safety belt material — in white, of course — with the added SEVENFRIDAY touch of a black UV logo.

At SEVENFRIDAY,  bold statements statements are expected, including in the areas of color. After rolling with Red and feeling frosty White, we pushed the limits with the P3C/09 Orange Carbon. The P3C/09’s massive 47-mm case, which you have come to expect from the brand, is made lighter and stronger thanks to the use of Carbon Fiber. And that’s not all: fiber resin is used to etch an orange line across the bezel, orange lacquer embellishes the 7F signature on the screw-down crown, and orange carbon fiber numerals at 12 and 2 top it all off.

The watch remains a genuine SEVENFRIDAY, with all the unique hallmarks you have come to expect, like an NFC chip for authentication and a three-year warranty registration using SEVENFRIDAY’s proprietary app; a mineral glass protecting a dial made of four separate layers finished in brushed sunray gun metal; and a water resistance of 330 feet. Each timepiece in the new SEVENFRIDAY carbon collection — the P3C/04 Red Carbon, P3C/07 White Carbon and P3C/09 Orange Carbon — come with a competition-strength seatbelt-material strap and features a SEVENFRIDAY logo in UV print. The watches retail for $1,650.
