Meet the Doxa SUB 300 Ti5

Nearly 60 years after the introduction of the original SUB 300 in 1967, Doxa is bringing Grade 5 titanium back to the permanent collection. In August 2026, the brand had already marked explorer and author Clive Cussler’s 95th birthday with a special edition of the SUB 300 Ti5, featuring a Grade 5 titanium case, a two-layer dial and a COSC-certified movement. The latest line-up expands the titanium offering into six versions, available in the Swiss independent brand's characteristic color palette: Professional in Doxa Orange, Sharkhunter in black, Caribbean in blue, Red Coral in cherry red, and Whitepearl in two variants. 

Grade 5 titanium is used for the case, crown and screw-in case back. Compared with stainless steel, this material is around 40 percent lighter while offering high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. These properties make it well suited to a dive watch designed for both underwater use and everyday wear. Inside the watches beats the Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1. The COSC-certified movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 38 hours of power reserve. It displays the hours, minutes, seconds and date.

300-meter water resistance and COSC Certification

The SUB 300 Ti5 retains the fundamental features of the model introduced in 1967. It is water-resistant to 300 meters and features Doxa’s patented unidirectional rotating bezel with a combined depth and dive-time scale. The scale is designed to help divers remain within the no-decompression limits established by the US Navy.

A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial. All dive-related indications are treated with Superluminova for clear legibility, while the oversized minute hand remains a defining feature of the SUB 300. It is finished in either the signature Doxa Orange or black, depending on the model.

A Luminescent Whitepearl

The Whitepearl iteration is the most striking variant. Available in two versions, with either a black or white Dive Flex rubber strap, its entire dial is coated with Superluminova, creating a luminous surface in low-light conditions. During the day, the white dial contrasts with the metallic gray of the titanium case; in darkness, the dial becomes a uniformly luminous display.

Price and Availability

All the new watches are fitted with Dive Flex rubber straps with a woven texture and pin buckle. The Doxa SUB 300 Ti5 is available from this month, through the brand’s website and authorized retailers. The retail price is $3,190.
