Eternal Time: 6 Modern Perpetual Calendar Watches - PORTFOLIO
In modern watchmaking, a perpetual calendar indicates the date, and corrects automatically for months with less than 31 days, as well as leap years. Unless the movement takes into account century years that are not leap years, a perpetual calendar will need manual adjusting in 2100, 2200 and 2300. Back to the '60s: The Return of the IWC Ingenieur - NEWS
In March 2017, IWC Schaffhausen unveiled a completely overhauled collection of Ingenieur watches at the 75th Goodwood members meeting in the south of England. The new line consists of three automatic models, four chronographs with in-house movements, and a limited-edition reference with perpetual calendar, based on the design of the Ingenieurs from the ’60s.
