Vacheron Constantin Expands the Overseas Collection
Vacheron Constantin is enriching its travel-inspired Overseas collection with two new interpretations of the Overseas Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar. Available in 18-karat pink gold with a matching pink-gold-toned dial or in white gold with a deep burgundy lacquer dial, the luxury models combine Haute Horlogerie craftsmanship with a contemporary sport-chic aesthetic. Both are housed in elegantly proportioned cases measuring 41.5 millimeters x 8.1 millimeters and water-resistant to 50 meters, making them as refined as they are versatile.

Vacheron ConstantinLaunched in 2016 with a refreshed design, the Overseas has since embodied the Maison’s spirit of travel and discovery. Its distinctive silhouette, inspired by the Maltese cross, lends these new perpetual calendars a sporty elegance, while two disciplines of high watchmaking stand out in particular: the art of reducing complex mechanical functions to an astonishingly slim movement, and the ability to display all calendar indications with clarity and accuracy until the year 2100.

Vacheron ConstantinThe pink-gold edition plays with monochrome harmony, its sunburst dial, bracelet, and moon-phase display all rendered in warm tones, subtly contrasted by a blue minute track. For a more casual look, the watch can be paired with either of the additional white or blue rubber straps provided. The white-gold model, by contrast, highlights a striking interplay of cool metal and a rich burgundy lacquer dial with a matching moon-phase disc. White numerals and hour markers provide crisp accents, while the interchangeable rubber straps in burgundy and white allow the wearer to adapt the watch to dial tones or case color.
Caliber 1120 QP/1
Vacheron ConstantinAt the heart of both models ticks the ultra-thin manufacture caliber 1120 QP/1. Composed of 276 parts yet only 4.05 millimeters thick, the self-winding movement drives hours, minutes, day, date, month, leap year, and moon-phase displays. Beating at a frequency of 19,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. A soft-iron inner case ring ensures magnetic resistance, while the transparent sapphire back reveals the 22-karat gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose — a nod to the Overseas’ theme of exploration. Traditional Haute Horlogerie finishes such as Geneva stripes, perlage, anglage, and straight graining further underscore the brand’s mastery of decorative watchmaking. Both timepieces bear the Poinçon de Genève, the oldest and most prestigious hallmark of fine watchmaking, granted exclusively to timepieces produced in the Canton of Geneva.
