Drawing inspiration from the traditions and precision of competitive rowing, Bremont introduces the Terra Nova HRR Chronograph Limited Edition, created to commemorate its partnership with the Henley Royal Regatta. Produced in a limited run of 150 pieces, the chronograph combines the British watchmaker's tool-watch credentials with design details inspired by the historic rowing event, from its official colors to a dedicated stroke-rate measuring function developed specifically for competitive rowing.

Built for Timing on the Water

Housed in a 42.5mm satin- and polished-finished 904L stainless-steel case, the Terra Nova HRR Chronograph features a bi-directional bezel fitted with a blue ceramic stroke-counter insert. Long associated with regatta timing, the complication allows wearers to measure rowing stroke rate and cadence using the chronograph pusher, making it a functional addition for athletes as well as a nod to the sport's long-standing traditions. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters and is available either on a matching 904L steel bracelet or a blue embossed leather strap with white stitching.

A Dial Inspired by Henley

The white lacquered dial takes its cues directly from the Henley Royal Regatta. Applied navy-blue numerals, luminous indexes, and contrasting matte blue subdials create a crisp, highly legible display, while a mint-green central chronograph seconds hand references the iconic deckchairs lining the Stewards' Enclosure along the River Thames. Additional event-specific details include crossed oars at 12 o'clock, the Henley Royal Regatta logo above the date display at 6 o'clock, and—for the first time on a Bremont Henley edition—the words "Henley-on-Thames" printed on the dial. The polished rhodium-plated hands and applied markers are filled with Superluminova, ensuring legibility in low-light conditions.

Automatic Caliber with 62-Hour Power Reserve

Powering the Terra Nova HRR Chronograph is the automatic BC77 caliber. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the chronometer-rated movement based on the Sellita SW500 delivers a power reserve of 62 hours while driving the central chronograph seconds, 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, small seconds at 9 o'clock, central hours and minutes, and a date display positioned at 6 o'clock. Limited to just 150 pieces, the Terra Nova HRR Chronograph is priced at $6,100 with a strap and $6,350 with a bracelet.
