Introducing the Ming 37.11 Odyssey
Following the success of its GPHG-winning 37.09 Bluefin dive watch, Ming introduces the 37.11 Odyssey, an elegant yet robust self-winding timepiece that is designed for traveling. Offering three timezones in a stunning interplay of colors, the watch is distinguished by the brand’s avant-garde aethetics, advanced materials, and technical ingenuity in a compact and wearable format.
37.11 Odyssey
MingWhen Ming launched the Bluefin in 2024, it challenged the conventions of dive watch design with its pressure-balanced architecture and distinctive rotating dial. The Odyssey builds on that foundation, translating the same spirit of innovation into a watch made for travel. Crafted entirely from grade 2 titanium and pressure-tested to 30 bars, the 38mm x 12.6mm case combines exceptional lightness with durability. Paired with either a matching titanium bracelet, a slate-gray FKM rubber strap, or Ming’s new grade 5 titanium Polymesh, the Odyssey weighs just under 42 grams, offering remarkable comfort for daily wear. The Odyssey’s twin crowns at 2 and 4 o’clock are functional and tactile. The upper crown, used for winding and time setting, screws down for water resistance and includes a safety indicator when unlocked. The lower crown controls the rotating dial and has been re-engineered for smoother operation.
37.11 Odyssey
MingLike its predecessor, the Odyssey retains Ming’s signature rotating dial construction. This time, the rotating dial is bidirectional and divided into 24 clicks, allowing tracking of a third time zone alongside the independently adjustable central GMT hand. The smoked sapphire dial reveals the anthracite skeletonized movement beneath, while the 24-hour markings are luminous and color-coded: blue for daytime and orange for nighttime. Legibility remains a priority. The upper sapphire crystal carries luminous hour indices in Polar White, and for the first time, the handset features a gradient Super-LumiNova treatment. The result is a dynamic play of light and color that makes the watch as engaging at night as it is in daylight.
